Catholic Charities Appeal

The Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA) is the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s single most important fundraiser benefiting hundreds of thousands of people through countless organizations and ministries in the Archdiocese. Gifts made to the CCA will provide support needed to beneficiaries in need of our help.

Beginning in February 2024,  the Catholic Charities Appeal begins and continues until the middle of May. Please consider contributing to this Appeal, held throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

The Catholic Charities Appeal is recognized as a non-profit institution. As such, all gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. It has its own Employer Identification Number (EIN) and receives a separate financial audit. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia affirms that no funds donated during this Appeal will be used to support the independent reconciliation and reparations program or associated expenses.

The Catholic Charities Appeal is powered by The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia, an independent, nonprofit community foundation.

A Message from Archbishop Perez

Archbishop Perez asks us to contribute to the Catholic Charities Appeal, since many are in great need. Each year, the numbers of those in need is increasing. Please click below to learn more about the Catholic Charities Appeal.
